have you post-processed this? or is it the conversion to jpeg that caused the high noise and the not so fluent gradients in the sky. Otherwise, beautiful shot!

no, this is the .jpeg file, at that time i wasn't RAWing.

the ISO here is 200, the camera was set on noise reduction, if i remember well, but if you mean that curve like gradient at the upper portion, guess its the monitor, i saw it on my laptop and saw it elsewhere, i mean here on DA but on different monitors, some shows it some don't.

thanks, actually i was thinking of re-visiting these places and re-make these photos again, just to compare my progress with the camera.

Well yeah, often it comes down to monitor settings. On my laptop my own images look quite different, so i guess that's the case here too :) Cheers

thank you so much, this is Kuwait, if you look at its map some where, you will see a small gulf, you can get to see the sunrise and sunset on the sea, on the beach that is.
